Divactive · detective game
Divactive Privacy Policy
How Divactive handles local game saves, purchases, support messages, and your privacy choices.
Overview
Your real phone stays private
Divactive is a fictional detective game. Its phones, messages, emails, photos, calendars, websites, and evidence are part of the story. The game does not read your real messages, contacts, email, photo library, or calendar, and it does not record microphone audio.
This policy covers Divactive (app identifier com.divactive.game), these legal pages, and Divactive support. The separate Diva wellness app has its own privacy policy.
Data controller: Ahmad Bannout operates Divactive and is responsible for its personal-data processing. Contact slay@askdiva.app for privacy questions or requests.
Data we use
What is saved or processed
Game saves on your device
The game saves case progress, discovered clues, deductions, hints, play time, completion dates, player notes, visit streaks, and settings such as language, sound, and haptics. The mobile app stores these locally; a browser version uses browser local storage. The current game does not upload these saves or notes to a Divactive account or cloud-save service.
Device or browser backups may contain local saves under your backup provider's settings. We cannot retrieve local-only notes or progress from your device.
Purchases and premium access
The app store and RevenueCat process purchase history, product identifiers, transaction or receipt information, purchase and expiration dates, renewal and refund status, and premium entitlement status. RevenueCat creates a random app user identifier that is stored on the device and used to check or restore access. It is a pseudonymous identifier; it is not your name or a Divactive login.
Purchase services may also process technical request information needed to operate their services, such as IP address, app and SDK version, platform, locale, and currency. We use purchase information to unlock premium cases, restore purchases, prevent purchase fraud, handle billing support, and understand purchase activity through RevenueCat's reporting.
Apple or another supported app store handles payment details directly. Divactive and RevenueCat do not receive your full payment-card number from an in-app purchase.
Support
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and investigate the issue. Please send only what is needed and keep passwords, full card details, and unrelated personal information private.
Website visits
Vercel hosts these legal pages and may process IP addresses and standard request logs to deliver and secure the website. These Divactive pages do not add advertising cookies, external font requests, or an analytics script. Links to other pages or services are governed by their own policies.
Advertising and tracking
The current Divactive app has no third-party advertising SDK or separate gameplay analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-app targeted advertising. Purchase reporting through RevenueCat is described above.

We use service providers for the purposes described here and use appropriate contractual and security safeguards where required. Stores may process data independently under their own policies. Data may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect legal rights or security, or as part of a business transfer with applicable safeguards.
International processing
Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Where applicable law requires it, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your request.
Back to top ↑Storage and deletion
How long information stays
Local saves: saves remain on your device or in browser storage until removed. Deleting the mobile app and its data or clearing the browser's site data removes local saves; backups may remain under your backup settings. Offloading an iOS app can preserve its data. Deleting local data does not cancel a store subscription.
Purchase records: the store and RevenueCat retain records needed to verify purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, and meet their legal obligations. Removing the app does not automatically delete their purchase records. We do not promise that deleting a purchase identifier will remove records the store must retain.
Support and technical records: we keep them only as long as needed to handle the request, troubleshoot or secure the service, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Provider retention settings also apply to their records. Contact us to request deletion of personal information we hold.
We use reasonable safeguards for information we process, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep your device and store account secure.

Privacy rights and permissions
Where applicable law provides these rights, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data we hold, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting processing already completed. Contact slay@askdiva.app; we may need to verify your request using only the information reasonably necessary.
For users in the EEA or UK, we rely on performance of a contract for purchase access and requested support, legitimate interests for proportionate security, fraud prevention, and purchase reporting, and legal obligations for required records. Where consent is legally required for optional processing, that processing requires consent.
You can also complain directly to your local data-protection authority. Your mandatory privacy rights are not limited by this policy.
The game does not require access to your personal phone content to solve cases. You can manage device permissions through your operating-system settings. The fictional phone interface is not a connection to your real apps.
Younger players
Follow the age rating shown by your app store and involve a parent or guardian where required by law, especially before buying a plan or contacting support. If you believe a child has supplied personal information that should not be held, contact us so we can review and handle it under applicable law.
